Meet the Staff
Josiah & Naomi Wenrich
Josiah and Naomi Wenrich have been married since June 2022 and are the proud parents of a son and a daughter. Their story began long before marriage — they’ve known each other since they were just 9 and 10 years old. Though Naomi once insisted she didn’t like him, time proved otherwise, and today they serve side by side as a remarkable ministry team.
Josiah is a licensed minister with the PennDel Ministry Network. A passionate student of God’s Word, he is deeply devoted to sound doctrine and the history of the Church. His ministry journey began in children’s ministry and soon led to youth ministry, where his heart for teenagers found its home. Josiah’s greatest desire is to teach truth in a way that roots students deeply in their faith and builds a firm foundation for their lives in Christ.
Naomi studied at the PennDel School of Ministry and serves as the Director of Children’s Ministries. Her love for children has been evident from a young age—she began serving in children’s ministry as a teenager and continues to pour her heart into helping kids know and experience God’s love. Outside of her church role, Naomi also serves as a board member of Tiny Tykes Essentials, where she uses her organizational gifts and passion for children to serve families in the community.
Together, Josiah and Naomi bring energy, authenticity, and heart to the Crossroads team. Their partnership in both life and ministry reflects their shared love for Jesus, His Word, and the next generation.
John & Emily Harbold
John and Emily Harbold first met while serving as youth leaders in the same youth group. From the very beginning, their pastors played matchmaker—and as it turns out, they were a great match! John and Emily have been married since June 2013. They have a daughter, Evie, and a son, Ezra.
John studied at Central Bible College and is an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God. Their ministry began in youth leadership and they were Young Adult Pastors before joining Crossroads full-time in 2024 as the Worship/Business Pastor.
John carries a unique gifting for authentic and sincere worship, and he deeply loves studying and teaching the Word. His humble, kind disposition is what people remember most about him. Time and again, those who serve alongside John describe him as inspiring, gentle, and a leader who helps others grow in both character and calling.
Emily studied Mathematics Education at Elizabethtown College and is also a licensed minister with the Assemblies of God. She previously served in the PennDel Women’s Ministry office for two years. Emily has a compassionate heart for the body of Christ, especially for mothers who may be tired, struggling, or hurting. She is a natural encourager who leads with humility, gentleness, and a deep love for people.
When John and Emily have the chance to lead worship together, it is a beautiful and anointed expression of their shared calling. Together, John and Emily bring gentleness, sincerity, and authenticity to the Crossroads team—qualities that bless everyone they lead and serve.
Ben & Beth Wenrich
Pastor Benjamin Wenrich has been married to his wife, Beth, for 28 years, and together they have been blessed with six children and two grandchildren. Ben’s educational background includes studies in Accounting at the University of Pittsburgh, Christian Education at Valley Forge University, and Counseling at Lancaster Bible College.
Ben began his ministry journey in 2000 as a Children’s Pastor and has since served in youth, young adult, and family ministries. In 2021, he became the Lead Pastor of Crossroads Community Church, where he desires to serve with humility and a deep love for God’s people.
A student of the Word, Ben is passionate about teaching Scripture in its entirety. He values sound doctrine and delights in helping others understand and apply biblical truth to their everyday lives. Whether from the pulpit or over a cup of coffee, he is always willing to sit and discuss God’s Word, encouraging others to grow in faith and maturity.
Beth enjoys serving alongside Ben and deeply values being part of ministry life at Crossroads. She leads the church’s food pantry ministry, working alongside a team of committed volunteers that combine compassion and organization to meet the needs of the local community. Beyond the church, Beth is passionate about community service and serves as co-president of Tiny Tykes Essentials, a nonprofit supporting children and families with essential resources.
Since 2009, Ben and Beth have also been active foster parents, living out their shared conviction to invest in the spiritual, emotional, and physical health of children and teens. Ben and Beth desire to serve Crossroads and the local community with warmth, authenticity, and love. It is their greatest desire to lead with hearts that reflect the compassion and truth of Christ in all they do.
