What We Believe
"For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ."
1 Corinthians 3:11

Our Vision
Internally healthy, externally focused.
Our Mission is the same as Jesus gave the disciples.
“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
Matthew 28:16-20
The Bible
The Bible is divine revelation of God to mankind. The Bible is our fixed source of authority for faith and conduct. It is without error, transcending all generations and cultures.
God
God is eternal, having always existed outside of time and space. God is a single Being, consisting of three Persons – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Jesus
Jesus is the eternal Son of God, both fully God and fully man. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin. He is without sin. Jesus is the only One who ultimately restores mankind from sin through the shedding of His blood. He is alive, having been raised from the dead and seated with the Heavenly Father. He is the healer of the sick. He is returning again to reign forever in the new heaven and new earth.
Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is active today to make people aware of their need of salvation. The Holy Spirit is active today to empower every believer to follow Christ more victoriously, offering a baptism that is subsequent to the salvation experience with gifts to confirm the power of the Gospel. The gifts of the Holy Spirit will operate in harmony with the Holy Scriptures and will never be used in violation of Biblical parameters.
People
People are made in the image of God. They are fallen from innocence due to a willful choice to do wrong. People are destined for eternal separation from God. People are provided an opportunity to be reconciled to God through Jesus, not as a result of human effort and good works, but through faith alone. People are invited to follow Jesus, repent of sin, and be regenerated through the power of the Holy Spirit. They are in need of dying to their sinful nature, in order to become truly alive in Jesus. People are commanded to relinquish the authority over their lives to Jesus, making Him the Lord of their lives.
The Church
The Church is the body of Jesus that consists of all believers on a three-fold mission of up-reach, in-reach, and 0ut-reach. The Church is observant of water baptism and holy communion.
At Crossroads, church is not about numbers or size, but about building a community of people who love God’s word and want to live it out.
We believe worship is a lifestyle, more so than just music.
We desire discipleship and providing opportunities for everyone to use their gifts.
